Athena Leagues are designed to help athletes improve their skills and field knowledge based on their skill level. Each session will be divided into one hour of instructional play with a 30 minute scrimmage at the end of each day. League is coached by experienced college lacrosse coaches and players from DI, DII and DIII schools.
Currently Athena runs two sessions:
Summer League - June and July
Winter League - November and December

Beginner / Rhea (grades 3-7)
Intermediate / Hera (grades 6-12)
Advanced / Artemis (grades 7-12)

Summer League Groups
Artemis League is designed for advanced lacrosse players. This level is restricted to rising 7th-12th graders to ensure the level of play will be at the pace of this instructional level.

You are looking to improve technique and finesse
Hera League is designed for intermediate lacrosse players. This level is restricted to rising 6th-12th graders to ensure the level of play will be at the pace of this instructional level.

You have solid dominant-hand stick skills
You understand the positions on the field
You are looking to get your skills to the next level
Rhea League is designed for beginner lacrosse players with some playing experience. This level is restricted to rising 3rd-7th graders to ensure the level of play will be at the pace of this instructional level.

You can throw and catch a ball
You are excited about lacrosse
You want to learn more and improve your skills
